A patient died of blooding during a C-section operation, should the doctor be arrested and sued for it? This case has stirred up quite a controversial in Japan, and both OBGYN doctors and malpractice lawyers protest the arrest and lawsuit.
According to colleges of the arrested doctor, it is a very difficult operation and the doctor tried his best, he shouldn’t be held accountable for the death.
The lawyers also agued for the doctor, they say, before a medical mistake is proved, a doctor shouldn’t have been arrested.
