Koizumi on Bush's Gift

Today every media is talking Mr. Bush's surprise visit to Afghanistan. While last November, when Mr. Bush was on a trip to Japan and China, he showed Mr. Koizumi with a gift that is very America, guess what? Segway!

Mr. Koizumi obviously like the Segway so much, one day, he decided to put it into a good use. He drove (ride, maybe) it to work. I suppose he, like Mr. Bush, lives inside his office complex, thus his commute will be much shorter than most of us.

However, that way short commute was complicated by riding a Segway instead of a sedan, even with a motorcade of body guards, aids, reporters, Mr. Koizumi seems to fall out of it at one time. As a strong leader as he is, he put out his best face smiling, he just couldn’t help watching his steps at the same time.
