BREAKING: Koizumi says Better US-Japan relations not at expense of other countries

In a joint press briefing that is still undergoing at this post (11:59am), Japan's Prime Minister Koizumi said, US-Japan alliance is not at the expense of Japan's bilateral relations with others, at one point, he singled out China.

Koizumi urged media not to interprete that he only wants good relations with US, he wants to also improve relations with other countries, too. He said, a "Better relations with the United States" will gurantee better relations with other countries, and that's what his intention is.
